Rangoli Metro Art Center (RMAC) MG Road Bangalore in association with Anupama Hoskere, Director, Dhaatu Puppet Theatre will exhibit a curated show of 'World of Puppets' at Vismaya art gallery for one month from 28 August to 30 September 2013. Apart from the exhibits, there are also puppet plays and puppet workshop. There are variety of puppets specific to different cultures and nations will be displayed in the exhibition. Election reporting is an interesting area. One gets to see the real faces of candidates and their followers, besides coming across a bunch of funny experiences. Here's a collection of such experiences from the Citizen Matters team.It was about 6.30 in the evening. Around 40 people were going around shouting slogans for Shobha Karandlaje, in Rajaji Nagar. She would reach there in another half an hour.Except a handful of middle-aged men leading the pack, no other supporters seemed as loud or dramatic as supporters usually are. On the occasion of Republic Day, flag hoisting was held in the premises at Kuvempu Nagar Residents Welfare Association (KRWA)on the morning of January 26th. The Chief Guest was S Nagaraj, BTM resident and former secretary of KRWA. He retired as Assistant Director, National Aeronautics Laboratory (NAL) after more than 40 years of service. Founder President Satyaraj, current president Padmakshi presided over the function. Sweets were distributed to all present for the occasion.⊕
