 When I heard that "Stories in a Song", created by Shubha Mudgal and Aneesh Pradhan, was going to be staged at Ranga Shankara, I was very keen to see what it would be about; because it promised something new. Jawahar Union won the B Division League Bangalore Blues Cup 2011-12, on March 4th. They beat Bangalore Kickers to win the cup.Both teams have been promoted to A Division for the year 2012-13. Five teams - BWSSB, Young Muslims, Goans, Sunrising and BHEL (EPD) have been relegated to C Division. Thirteen teams had participated in the championship held in Bangalore Football Stadium.  Jawahar Union team with the championship trophy. Today..An email from my young friend Anvitha Satish, whom I often exchange emails with...Just felt like sharing this with u.... :) I had told you that a teacher helped me in saving the black kite. Most of us who have tried to grow plants are sure to have encountered these 'troublemakers'. They have often 'spoilt' our well-laid plans for the garden, or harassed us into spending extra time, clearing them from the garden. In fact it has become such a habit, that even while walking through or sitting idly in the garden, we can catch ourselves picking them off the soil. I am talking here about what we all refer to as 'weeds'. Only of late, have I tried to change my lens for viewing these plants. And it's been a great learning. Contrary to…
