BBMP invites objections to road renaming

Objections from the Public called for to the ‘Naming/Renaming’ of various areas

It has been decided to name the 33rd MainRoad in 4th Cross of Vysya Bank Colony, J.P.Nagar I Phase (comes under Ward No 179, Shakambarinagar area) as "Shri Rama Temple Road" as per the BBMP meeting held on 28-7-2011.

The Park in Ward No 125, 2nd Main, Marenahalli, Binny Layout 1st phase is going to be called as "Binny Park" as per the same meeting.

The 2nd Main Road in Narasimharaj Colony of Ward No 154 will be called as "Dr. C Ashwath Road" as per BBMP meeting on 28-6-2011.

In ward No 56, the 1st Main Road (from Old Madras Road to Vivekanand road) of Pai Layout to be called as "Shri Bhagat Singh 1 st Main Road"

Similarly, the 2nd Main road of Pai Layout is to be called "Shri Bhagat Singh 2nd Main Road".

The Layout in JP Nagar 7th Phase is to be named after "Late Shri V S Krishna Iyer".

In Ward No 41, NTTF Circle to be renamed as "Cauvery Circle" and TVS Circle as "Kuvempu Circle".

In Ward No 103, Ranganathapura 1st Main road (from Magadi mainroad to 60ft road of Pattegara Palya) is to be named as "Late Smt Komalamma Road".

In Ward No 56, the road from Karimariamma temple to Mahadevapura Circle is to be named as "Shri Veer Savarkar Main Road".

In Ward No 176, BTM Layout, 2nd Phase, EWS Layout to be named as "Shri R Gundurao Layout".

In Ward No 131, Gangondanahalli 4th cross, the circle near Veeranjaneya temple is to be named after Social Worker "Late Shri C Cheluvaiah".

Any objections to the above mentioned ’12 Names’ to be raised within 30 days from the date of this Press Release.
