A night on the street

What is the power of the common man? A collaborative and inspiring set of people helped fix the potholed road that had been dug up for 6 months. Till then, local residents and daily commuters were facing severe issues due to big potholes. When most of Bangalore was sleeping, this group was fixing potholes at Nellurhalli junction.

Plant a tree

Tree planting in the greater Whitefield area is on a roll. After the success at Sheelavanthakere, ITPL is the next stop. Read about the last planting.

500 saplings were also planted near ITPL on June 27th.

Quietly, steadily, a whole group of dedicated volunteer group called Whitefield Ready have been working in 5 government schools in the area. And now they are taking it all up a notch. Khan Academy meets Government schools! Find out how magic is happening.

Kere Habba 2020: Celebrating Kaikondrahalli lake and its ecology

Workshops, photography trails, storytelling sessions, organic food, 5 km run and a lot of fun – this is what Kaikondrahalli lake festival witnessed. Special eco-friendly medals made of lake reeds were awarded to all runners!
