It was a show of creativity and colours in Whitefield on Saturday morning. As the sun and clouds played hide-and-seek, scores of children made a beeline for Nallurhalli lake to use their imagination and depict their natural surroundings. 'My Halli, My Lake', an initiative of Nallurhalli Rising, brought together more than 160 children, aged between three and sixteen years. Rotary and various companies contributed to the cause. Meanwhile, many students who went through various bridge schools run by Samridhdhi Trust in Bengaluru have passed recently held board exam with flying colours.   The Bangalore Effective Education Task Force (BEETF) Annual Day is organised to celebrate the achievement of our students and BEETF for bridging the gap in education and admitting 500+ ultra-poor, out-of-school-children to mainstream formal schools in the year 2015-2016.  Date: 28th May 2016.Time: 10:45 am -…

It was a treat to see people pouring out of streets and alleys to join the human chain, merge in seamlessly, bringing their own posters, chanting their own slogans, and through small acts of kindness, reinforcing each others' faith in the compassion that is at the core of all of us. One protestor brought biscuits and drinks for the rest of the gang. Another stepped off the bus unaware of the protest, but joined in spontaneously and started coordinating the walk towards Vydehi.
